Okay, I’m totally crazy for Mass Effect and also Atlus’ awesome puzzle game Catherine! So here is my take on the Catherine cover art with Commander Shepard and Garrus. Also posted on my deviantART page. Enjoy!

This story starts off with two spectacular boys, Dub and Chip. They have been friends for as long as they could remember. They were inseparable. When Dub and Chip did something they did it together. They had so many things in common but above all these were music. They each had their preferences but they enjoyed any kind of music as long as the tune was good. One thing they didn’t have in common were two abilities: Dance and Playing. When Dub moved his feet his moves could shake your soul and inspire your heart. When Chip plays his guitar you find yourself rocking to the beat. The neighborhood that Dub and Chip lived in wasn’t exactly the best and occasionally people would fight. They would fight over the smallest things. Eventually they formed groups to fight over these silly things. The fights between groups would break out a lot. And the neighborhood itself was dangerous. There happened to be a power plant when one of the biggest group fights broke out. Dub and Chip didn’t know about this fight. Some things happened. An explosion in the power plant went off.  Dub and Chip were caught into it. Dub and Chip survived, however.  They nervously said their goodbyes and ran home.

The next day Dub wakes in his bed. The alarm clock playing his favorite song. He jumps up to hit the floor…. But instead hit the ceiling. He discovers he now has the power of movement. His speed is unmatched by all. Excited he begins to break out into a dance. A great force starts to shake the ground. Speed isn’t all he has. When he starts to dance he shakes the ground with a great force.

When Chip awakens that day to his alarm he gets up and decides to practice on his guitar a bit. He realizes that his guitar looks a bit different. It even looks a bit cooler. It sounds much better and can do more than just rock out now. He starts to play and it sends out a beautiful sound wave…. That shatters his windows. And the neighbor’s windows…. In fact. All the windows that happen to be on his block shattered.  He has gained the power of music. His jams send a beat that’ll blow you away.

They meat up and tell each other of their new found powers. They’re excited until they realize they can’t really do anything with these powers. They have no purpose at this point. Some of the fight groups have started fighting again. Dub and chip decide to go see what’s going on. Maybe their newfound power can help stop the fighting.  As they approach they begin to see a terrible sight. Dub and Chip weren’t the only ones to discover they had super powers today. Most of the fighters now have super powers. The groups even have similar powers. The strongest of them have moved up to becoming leader of the groups. Flame Rockers, Roundhousers & Beatdowns (two groups joined forces), The Alternative Psyches, and Techno Spikes. They have all started to terrorize the town and aren’t just making noise now.

Can Dub and Chip do it? Will they officially become a super hero team? Will they have cool costumes? When will they come up with their super hero names? Why are these questions so stupid? Do they ever end?
